Kicking Television are about to release their new single 41 Miles Due West on Ubiquity Project Records becoming the first release after our relaunch and our first ever single release.

41 Miles Due West is an upbeat and dynamic Indie Rock track with a strong, catchy chorus ripe for singing along to! The "B-Side", if such a thing still exsists, will be the amazing October. The track moves from a soft, lamenting introduction through to a high energy section with guitar solo. Then dropping down and building back up into a huge climax. The two songs well represent two differing sides to this new band from brothers Johnny & Simon Amphlett and Alex Bowen.

The tracks were recorded, mixed and mastered by myself over a weekened at Silver Street Studios. The atmosphere in the studio was great and that comes accross in these lively sounding tracks. KTV opted to become the first band to release with me to (other than my band). I am delighted to welcome them to The Ubiquity Project.

The single will be released on Monday 14th May through Ubiquity Project Records and will be available ditigally from all major (and most minor) online stores.

re-launch

Welcome all to a new Ubiquity Project. We are now a non-profit, non-exclusive label putting music out digitally through all major online shops. We hope to grow into a larger collaboration of bands and artists, eventually putting on shows and doing whatever else takes our fancy! A few people are currently involved. We've got loads of ideas and we hope to impliment as many as we can! I don't want to announce too much, as what will happen and what will not happen is all very much in the air at the moment.

For those a little confused, or saying "hang on, I thought you were a band.". Well, we were, the band "The Ubiquity Project" have progressed and evolved into Noise Trade. Before they changed their name they set up a label to sell their self-titled album through. That album is still available today, but if you want to catch the music live you'll have to look out for Noise Trade, who are still a UPR band.
